Magnet Precautions

SnapBadge contains strong, neodymium magnets. Please consider the following warnings regarding our product: 

• AVOID CLOSE PROXIMITY TO PACEMAKERS. Though it is difficult to say how close is too close, the American Heart Association advises a minimum of 6 inches. Pacemakers may go into a different mode of function or fail to deliver a life saving shock if activated by a close enough magnetic field. • If you have a Pacemaker or Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator, you should avoid our products. 
• Strong magnets can erase magnetic data storage. Credit card magnetic strips may be damaged by prolonged or frequent movement of a magnet near the magnetic strip. 
• Magnets can pinch. Avoid the ouch by being aware. 
• Magnets are not toys. Children who swallow magnets can become medical emergencies. Do not ingest, or allow others to ingest,SnapBadge or its components.
